Welcome to our Home Page! Greater Roslindale Medical & Dental Center (GRMDC) is a non profit
community health center serving residents predominantly from Roslindale, Hyde Park, and West Roxbury, although
anyone is welcome. The Center opened in 1975 by concerned community residents who believed there were many unmet
health needs. Over the last 30 years the Center has entered into several licensing agreements, and since January
1, 1998 GRMDC has been licensed by Boston Medical Center.
The Greater Roslindale Medical and Dental center is a hospital-licensed community health center of Boston Medical Center. Established in 1975, the health center's mission is to offer comprehensive primary health care services to area residents. The addition of several medical specialties compliment the primary care model and help make health care convenient for patients by having multiple services under one roof.

The Center is predominantly an appointment-based office. Walk-ins are accepted as time permits. Patients are encouraged to call for an appointment. (617) 323-4440.

GRMDC sees a large diversified patient base in terms of culture/ethnicity, race, age, gender, insured and uninsured. Patients served at the Center range in age from 0-100+. The diverse patient racial mix is white (Middle Eastern, Greek, Syrian, Arabic, Albanian), African and American Black, Hispanic, & Haitian.

Patients without health insurance can meet with our Financial Counselor and complete a free care application. The application from the state of Massachusetts requires proof of residency and income among other things. Eligibility decisions can take up to 30 days. If the applicant is approved for Commonwealth Care or free care, patients may receive all of their health care at GRMDC and may also be seen at Boston Medical Center for inpatient or outpatient care.
GRMDC is staffed with Board certified/eligible physicians/dentists with many years of dedicated service. Patients can also choose to receive care by our fully licensed nurse practitioners, certified nurse midwives, registered dieticians and masters prepared clinical social workers.
