GRMDC sees a large diversified patient base in terms of culture/ethnicity, race, age, gender, insured and uninsured. Patients served at the Center range in age from 0-100+. The diverse patient racial mix is white (Middle Eastern, Greek, Syrian, Arabic, Albanian), African and American Black, Hispanic, & Haitian.

Patients without health insurance can meet with our Financial Counselor and complete a Mass Health application. The application from the state of Massachusetts requires proof of residency and income among other things. Eligibility decisions can take up to 30 days. If the applicant is approved for Commonwealth Care or free care, now called Health Safety Net, patients may receive all of their health care at GRMDC and may also be seen at Boston Medical Center for inpatient or outpatient care.

GRMDC is staffed with Board certified/eligible physicians/dentists with many years of dedicated service. Patients can also choose to receive care by our fully licensed nurse practitioners, certified nurse midwives, registered dieticians and masters prepared clinical social workers.
